I DID IT!!!

I made it all the way through NaBloPoMo!! I am so proud of myself, because it was freakin' hard. What bugged me the most was not having time to read as many of the blogs I follow as usual, because I was too busy creating my own posts and responding to comments. There were a few moments of panic too, where I really didn't feel like writing anything and the clock was ticking away.

But they say it takes 21 days to create a new habit, and in the last week I noticed the daily posting got a lot easier (and no, they weren't all pictures with a one-liner). So while I won't continue posting every single day, I think I'll step up my previous slackerly ways and shoot for 4-5 times a week. Until April, when I do the A-Z 26 day challenge. I'm looking forward to it already.

    1. Exactly. I'm glad to have the pressure off, but it was fun too and I'm glad I did it.

    1. Glad to hear from you! I'm already starting to think about what I should write for the A-Z challenge. The hardest part of this month is when I just couldn't think of anything I wanted to write about, so I'm going to try to plan ahead a bit more for the April challenge.

    1. Yeah, about 10 days ago I felt like I never wanted to blog again. But I pushed through it and I'm glad I did.

    1. I feel all disoriented right now, like I should be preparing another post instead of reading other people's blogs. But I don't have to! I can just read away! It's nice.

  5. I so hear you! It was rewarding but at the same time frustrating. I also didn't read as many blogs, which I'm sorry for. But, at least most of us were in the same boat! I can't wait to read more from you!

  6. Congrats on the month of writing. Glad you will be writing more often.

I am so behind on reading blogs it is ridiculous! My Google Reader is (again) over 1000+ unread posts.

    2. Word!

I don't even open the page anymore. When I do, I tend to go to the usual blogs and just "mark as read" the other ones. I need to do that with the entire list this time around!

  7. Good for you!! At times it is difficult for me to keep up with my own blog ~ posting, commenting, etc. ~ but I love it, and feel that other's can tell through your writing that you love it as well.

Thanks for linking up with my NO RULES Weekend Blog Party :)

    1. It would be nice if we could just blog all day long, wouldn't it?
