Hahaha! Yeah, that one would freak me out, and I don't usually get upset about spiders. It actually lives in the tops of trees in the Amazon, and it occasionally falls on people, so I completely understand why you wouldn't want to go anywhere near one!
Falls or jumps? *shudder*
Those things are just gross and freaky and ew. They should stay in the Amazon where the Good Lord intended and all of us should stay away. Stopping by from Mama Kat's
HOLY MOTHER OF ... !!!
Exactly! Even my husband was horrified when he saw it.
Oh dear Lord in heaven. I have Arachnophobia and must now go to my happy place!
I'm sorry. I have arachnophobia too and I kept shivering and glancing around me while I wrote that post, like that spider was somehow going to zoom from the rainforest to Canada just to terrorize me.
Me too. I am never ever going there. Great post and scary spider!
I've always wanted to go zip-lining in Costa Rica, but I have a very real concern about hurtling through a rainforest with these types of inhabitants, while strapped into a harness you can't get out of. If that landed on me during my adventures, there is a distinct possibility my heart would stop. I'm so serious.
Hahaha! My submission was about the same place!
Arachnophobics think alike! I only had to think about that prompt for 20 seconds before I knew what my answer would be. I checked out your post - love your "my whole computer screen is overrun with monsters" face!
That is awesome...
I'm not sure awesome is quite the word I'd pick, but it certainly gets a reaction.
And I'm wishing I'd waited until morning to visit your blog...yikes!
I woke up at 5:00 (time change is messing me up) and decided to do this post. Then I got tired again and realized I had just filled my mind with images of giant spiders, and now I was going to go back to sleep. Somehow I managed to avoid a horrific nightmare, thank God.Maybe do a search on cute kittens until you've forgotten all about this?
Why is it on his back???? For the love of God, mister, get it off!
I know, what a nutjob!
ACK! Now I'm going to be passing my hand over my back every 5 minutes to check a giant creepy spider isn't hanging out there!
Yep, that's what I do every time I catch sight of this post again.
I'm never going there, either!
It's too bad it freaks me out so much, because seeing the rainforest in person would probably be really cool.
Aah! That is a huge spider! We have a ton of spiders at our apt, and so they don't phase me much anymore, but that beast would freak me out! Thanks for linking up with the Weekend Blog Walk!JillianHi! It's Jilly
Thanks for hosting! I have a problem with spiders of any size so if I saw this in real life, I would probably collapse out of sheer terror.
